Belly of 7'11" x 22.5" 3" thick transition era wide point aft center design surfboard. Now I actually don't know who was the originator of the wide point back type surfboard design? That I don't know - so I don't feel I should explain something I am not sure of ... What I know from surfing board's similar is: the wide point aft center make's for a shorter turning radius if the wide point is pushed back of center. This shortens the point in which the board turn's... This is probably -the mod most responsible for high performance short board's we see today w Thruster's & other performance short board's. -Jim
